Does anyone with a 4110/46BH have a problem with their tires rubbing on the subframe mounts when turning hard? I installed the BH myself, and I can't seem to keep this from happening. I even tried to turn the brackets around( which makes the pins nearly impossible to put in!) but the tire still rubs. Am I doing something wrong? I'm afraid I might tear up a tire.

Does the 4110 have an adjustable wheel stop on the axle?

Good Question! I don't know. I'll have to check tomorrow. If so, that might take care of the problem. We'll see.... Thanks, Jason

Just an FYI.... I have the 2520 with the 46 and it had the same issue as installed. The dealer called the factory and didn't get much help. They cut off the exposed ends of the u-bolts flush with the nuts. Now it clears, but barely. They said that it was partially due to having turf tires which are larger than the R3s or R4s. So, you may consider different front tires if you can.

Good Luck!

That may be the case, I didn't notice any issues on my 2520 with R4s. Now that I'm hearing about these issues I wish I had taken more pictures of the install before I unmounted it so I can get it working again - no excuse since I've got a nice DSLR...

I have R4's on my 4110. The subframe brackets on it fasten square with the ground (not angled like I think they do on a 4115/2520) So grinding off the bolts won't help. I haven't been able to check to see if there is an adjustable wheel stop yet. My tires actually catch the side of the bottom plate. I suppose I could grind on it a little- But there doesn't appear to be very much metal there now (between the corner and the bolt hole) I'll just have to see... THanks Jason

I have a 2520 with the 46 B/H frame. I have been fighting the tire issue hitting the loader frame and mounting bolts for the B/H for several months. JD's solution so far has been to offer to buy back the tractor. (Not going to happen, I like the 2520's capabilities)

JD is now working on new brackets for the B/H subframe to alleviate the U-bolt from tearing up the tires. The issue is aggravated when you are on uneven ground. The uphill wheel is shredded by the bolt (see attached pic). JD also has said that the fix will be to go the R-4's. Turf tires are to big and will always hit the loader frame and B/H bracket. I bought my tractor with turf tires so I don't tear up the lawn. It seems to me that JD is being very arrogant and not really addressing the issues.

Now I see there the problem is, my 2520 with R4s doesn't seem to have that issue. I've attached a few pictures to show what my tires look like when fully turned. If I can provide any measurements or other pics to help, just ask.

Wow! My situation is not nearly as bad as yours (f2000ez)!! Evidently JD has got some work to do on the 2520.:( I can't believe I am having problems with my 4110/46BH though because they have been around long enough you would think they would have the kinks worked out. Is there anyone with a 4110/46BH with similar issues??? JasonL - I have the 4110 with 46BH & FEL. Haven't noticed any issues in the 18 months I've had the set-up but I haven't looked for them either.

I'm putting my BH on this weekend, will let you know what I see.
