Great place....in the time it took to type a reply there were already several other posts. At any rate, here's a side pic of a 4110 with the blower/hitches mounted up. The tractor mount I refered to is green (nice contrast) and is part of the FEL hood guard. Good luck

Thanks guys! Do you run a MMM as well? There are two attaching kits available... both look a little different. There is also a "Front hitch/mid-mount mower combo bracket" for $94. I have a mmm as well...

It's kind of wacky for JD to put the one I have if you can't even attach the front quicktach to it... Why in the world would they do that??? (kind of a rhetorical question)

I have not put my 62D MMM on yet but the brackets it shows for the mechanical lift kit are the ones you now have on your tractor.

I'm wondering if I have to change the brackets and lose the front quick attachment system when I run my mower. It would be a pain to have to switch back and forth.

Exactly... The $94 mount appears to be the bracket if you use both. I'm going to look over the one I have and if I can make some adjustments on it I will. Otherwise I'll go to my dealer and get the $94 bracket... I guess. John Deere should simply put the bracket on that adapts to both front hitches and mmm. Silly not to...

You might get a better idea by trying JD Parts: John Deere - Parts Catalog

Thanks JDF... found that earlier today on the site. NICE!

High 20's the rest of the week here... coooold... you know it's moving your way . Clean up your sticks and put 'em away... it'll be a while... . I played Sunday and posted my best score of the season. I've ended the last few seasons on a sour note. So I'm thrilled to end this year on a good note. Hopefully you're ending on a high note as well.

Couple links... you may have seen 'em already....

Shawk,

The cold front is supposed to come through on Friday, but I'm thinking this is going to be the year we get to play through most of the winter! The video's were good!

If I remember right, that new $94 bracket may require you to
get a new hood guard, and/or some new front attaching plates.

We had a deal where the original hood guard wasn't compatable
with this combo bracket, and in Sept they released a new hood
guard that was compatable... which allowed a very easy changeover
from MMM to Front Quick Hitch..

When did you get your loader and hood guard?

I think the new hood guard number is :
BW15634 , and this new guard will integrate with the
front attaching support kit (LVB25302) , which will then integrate
with the combo bracket (LVB24899)..

are we confused yet??
:-)

Shawk,

My dealer gave me a third bracket that replaces the front PTO bracket. So you pull off the PTO bracket and this pops right in for the MMM front bars. I just found it sitting on my 62D mower deck. Took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on but now I think I should be able to switch things back and forth fine.
