I beleive its time too replace the front tires on my 2155, it currently has firestone 4 rib 7.50-16 tube tires 8 ply. My question is can I go with 3 rib or should I stick with 4 rib?

Is their a place on line where you guess price/buy tires?

Three rib would be fine, that is what they came with stock.

It all depends on what you are using the tractor for. we have a 3910 Ford with a loader on it, and it had 7.50-16 4 ribs on it, and they went flat weekly because we have locust and hedge thorns that poked through the tires.
What I did was buy some 7.50R16 Michelin XPS Rib Light truck tires with all steel sidewalls and belts, and put those on there. They have been on there for 12 years and have never been flat one time. In fact, I can't remember ever adding air to them.
None of the thorns have penetrated the interior of the tire.
They are running tubeless on the original wheels.
We pick up big bales with that tractor and feed in the winter.

If you are not having many flats, then you might not need to go that route, but if you do, that is a sure way to fix it.
3 rib tires turn better on wet ground than 4 ribs do.
Hope that helps.
