Did you buy the baler new? The hitch comes with the baler.

Kessler Farms, thanks for the heads up! I called JD and sure enough, the hitch should have been included... Then I called Shoppa's, and they are going to send me one for free.

Good to hear. I bought a new 328 last year and the hitch was included, so I thought you needed to call the dealer.

I've put around 7500 bales through mine so far without any issues. No real tricks to baling, just read the manual and check your bales pretty often. I put the hydraulic fold on mine, plus extended bale chute and hitch. We load standing on the wagons.

I wonder if during PDI the dealer checked to be sure the slip clutch was adjusted correctly???? That is very important.

PDI was probably done at the service writer's desk with nothing more than a working pen.
