Actually if you have a 6330 and not a 6330 Premium, the brakes do feel spongy in comparison. It is normal for the pedals to travel 1/2 - 3/4 of the way to the floor before brakes activate. We have had some complaints from customers that are used to Deere's full power brakes in earlier models. The non-premium 30 series does not have power brakes. They are manual brakes. They still work well, but definitely have a different feel than power brakes. It is possible that they need bleeding though. I usually try bleeding the brakes as normal setup procedure. Sometimes there is air in them from the factory.
My 6330 brakes took some getting used to. They aren't as sensitive as other 6000 series I've owned but they work fine, just take a little more pressure.
