john deere 3020 slow starting
I have a 1965 gas 3020 that turns over slow to start unless I turn the steering wheel left and right then it turns over at regular speed. Any ideas of how to fix it?

Install a destroking screw in the main hyd pump.

Parts key #6(AR33249) if hyd pump hasn't been replaced with one with a serial number.

Just remove the screen in front of the radiator on LH side and there is the plug.

Put it in and it starts fast now. Dealer said the propane starter would do better.
