Default JD 4300 Hydraulic Fluid level

I cannot see the "float" in the fluid level window by the pto shaft. If I have put in too much fluid would I still be able to see the float?

Please be gentle on me ...

Not sure there is a "float".
In my window I just look to see there is a fluid line.

Here is a picture of what the "float" should look like from the manual. I have seen this but need to remember to check every time I use tractor. I guess my question now becomes will it harm the tractor if I put in too much fluid? All the manual says is that is will cause it to overflow.

That little window should be about half full of fluid when sitting level.

I don't know what the plastic piece is but really don't think it is a float the Mighty Dodge is right there should be a horizontal fluid line in the middle of the window white disc may be to facilitate seeing the fluid YOU NEED TO ADD THE RIGHT AMOUNT TRANSMISSION FLUID NOW
