6420/640JD loader joystick won't operate

The tractor & loader has only 800 hrs. And the joystick will not operate I'm stumped please help

If it "will not operate" as in "joystick will not move" you have moisture frozen in the cables or some other problem with the cables.

Simple question... Is the lock lever in the operate position? It's located low on column that holds the joystick.

It's easy to bump to lock ...

This joystick is ,electronic not manual. The stick is in the console.

I see. Sounds like you need to check fuses and possibly call a dealer.

Do you put your hand in the little cradle thing? Do you put your hand in there?

If you don't the loader will not work.

If not, its something electrical.
