gas guage question
I just ordered a gas float/sensor for my JD 2020 gas and whoever had it before removed the wiring to it. I know it only has one electrical; terminal, which I assume goes to the gas guage. Does the other terminal on the guage just connect to the ignition switch? IO just don't want to start a fire here. I have an owner's manual and a shop manual but neither has a wiring diagram. Sorry if this is a "DITZ" question. I just want to get things right.

Re: gas guage question
You are correct. One terminal (usually marked "I" for ignition) has wire from ignition side of switch. The other terminal on back of gauge(usually marked "S" for sender) goes the the sending unit.
