I am looking to replace the three rib 7.50-16 front tires on my JD 1530. I have a FEL on the front. Living in the NW the ground is sloppy (6 months out of the year) and I am looking for a little more floatation, actually a lot more floatation. The rear tires do great, but the fronts make awful ruts... Nothing is off the table: truck tires, skid steer, aircraft, blimp...doesn't matter. Just would like a wider front that doesn't knife into the ground. Would even consider replacing the front rims as well, if that is what it would take. I don't use the draw bar so, a larger diameter front tire would be good as well. Wondering if anyone has put a wide bias ply truck tire on the front and how wide of a tire can you put on a these rims. I'll be using tubes. Thanks.

You could get some of these used aircraft tires if you decide on no flats GENSCO AIRCRAFT TIRES. Home

I think we have different rims, but on my 2030 I have 11.00 - 15" front tires. These are tractor tires, nothing special. Not implement/wagon tires

1530 parts catalog only lists 3 frt wheel sizes although most 6 bolt implement wheels with the correct center dish
JD3002 RIM 1 (6.00-16, 6.50-16 TIRE)
JD3039 WHEEL 1 (7.50-16 TIRE)
JD3047 WHEEL 1 (27/9.5-15 TIRE) will fit.
