wiring at seat switch and park brake safety switch was cut by brush and 870 tractor will not crank after splicing all wires back with heat shrink tubing. seat switch has 4 wires and park brake has 2. dash lites all lite brightly and fuel solenoid clicks once and the fuel solenoid relay buzzes briefly then nothing. battery ok and tried to jump with jeep and no change. I did find under dash a red and blue wire with a small female metal slip type connector that was not hooked to anything. it has a clear rubber boot for protection which I think may mean it was hooked to fusebox or other wire? help please......at wits end!

I gather you do not have the tech (service) manual for the 870. I'll look in mine to see if there is a good schematic that will possibly help you out.
In the meantime, consider tracking down a tech manual, and as well, visit your Deere dealer to go over what is in there and likely they'll make some copies of interested figures as well.

:welcome: to TBN

Is this fuse ok?
