Disc Mower For 2240

Would a 5.5 foot disc mower work well with a 2240?
We would be looking at getting a new or slightly used unit.
Any brand/model recommendations?

Only have about 12 acres to hay currently, so the maneuverability of a narrower unit would be nice to have.

My brother cut hay with a 9' disc cutter on a JD 2040. Before I traded off a Kubota M4900(45 pto hp) I utilized it to cut with a 9' disc cutter. So to answer your question the 2240 should handle a 5.5' cutter just fine.
