I posted this a few weeks ago. Had some lookers but no replies. So I'll try this again.

Looking at a John Deere 650 Tractor with Front loader, Brushhog, rototiller, bellymower, and blade. Sold as a package. Tractor is a 1981-89 model; 2WD; runs great; 1800 hrs. ASKING $6000.

My concern is the 1800 hours. He also said he recently replaced cracked fuel bulb/ bowl ??? and fuel line?? Said it was back up and running.

Thanks

Traded my 1988 650 4WD in on the 2320 last year? I bought the 650 new with loader and backhoe. Dealer allowed me $10,500.00 (on paper) on the trade. The 650 was in really good condition and had about 1600 hours on it. Back when I purchased the 650 it sold for about $8,000 without the FEL or BH. That being said, I think $6,000 is too much money for a 2WD 650, no matter how many attachments comes with it, it is still a 650. My 650 was an outstanding TLB but the rear PTO HP (<15hp) left a lot to be desired. I would also venture to guess the FEL on a 650 without 4WD would be close to useless, mine was.

Just so you know, I needed a new part for my FEL on the 650 and discovered parts for the loader were not available, that was the deciding factor to trade.
