Just a few things more:

- I'm still on the fence on the 54" vs. the 62" MMM. I know a lot of you fellas highly recommend the 62" but I just think it's just too big for me???

- I'm still considering the 54' snow blower vs. the 47'. Again I'm thinking it might be too big for me. I don't have that huge of a drive

Am I missing anything on the quote above???

Thanks In Advance,
Cory

Go bigger on both - there will be too much wheel overlap if you don't.

Your terrain should dictate your attatchment sizes in this instance. Especially the mowing deck, if your terrain is all relatively flat than bigger is better. If you have lots of mounds, rough terrain, etc the smalled deck can be more managable and will not have to rely as much on the gauge/anti scalp wheels to avoid scalping and wont have as much trouble with cutting to high on the opposite side. Horsepwer wise both blowers should be fine on this tractor i have seen numerous 48" blowers on this chasis of tractor and they work great. The 54" blower being new I have not seen work in heavy snow yet.

There are folks that have a 47" blower on these ( not a 48") because that is all they offered at the time , I don't know of anyone that doesn't complain that the tractor is wider then the blower and thus the wheels pack down the snow, especially when turning. There are threads that talk about adding "wings" to solve this but why go through the trouble when a wider blower is now available?

As far as the 54" deck scalping less then 62", I don't know if that is a totally valid argument, I have owned both sizes and saw no significant difference unless cutting at an extremely low level. Besides what better way to flatten out all the high spots?;) What I like about the 62" is the extra width allows your to trim up close to things without risking rubbing the rear wheels.

Different stokes for different folks so buy what you want.

This reminds me of when I built my house and wanted to mount a flat screen TV over the fireplace; I asked my AV guy what he thought . His answer was "we can do what ever you want but I have taken down more TV's over the fireplace then I have put up". At first it sounds like a cool idea but in practice didn't work so well.

I have the 62d deck on my 2320 and love it. This tractor will cut a tighter circle around trees than my 38" riding lawn mower!

Not to change the post, but why didn't it work so well? I was contemplating this same idea.

Two main reasons:
1. Heat rising from the fireplace would overheat the TV
2. After a while many people would find it tiring to look up to watch the TV.
