Very smart guess Steve - we are in the Hattiesburg area. We've been here for many years and are not retired (yet), but for any of you pondering a snow/ice free Florida or other southern retirement, I'd recommend looking into south Alabama or Mississippi. (I was raised in Michigan). Very underrated except that the schools systems are weak.

I take the wisdom of the experienced guys to heart - the two pedal system is best. Like mjncad I've tried hitting the wrong pedal as a test and in fact it doesn't seem to have much ill affect. I love the tractor.
