I took delivery of my 2010 5105M with 563 SL Loader last Thursday. Haven't yet had a chance to put many hours on it, but that will change this weekend.
My local dealer had a 5105M on the lot, but it was lacking a FEL and it had bias-ply tires. Took about eight weeks for the loader and radial tires to come in and switch out. I added several dealer options including fenders and buddy seat. Finished installing the radio and horn last night. Just waiting on the front fenders to come in. It has the 32F/16R PowerReverser Plus transmission with 2-front and 2-rear remotes.
This tractor replaces a Ford 7000 and compliments a John Deere 2755. My dad and I have a cow/calf operation and put up about 500 round bales a year. Both tractors are mainly used to feed hay in the winter months and put up hay in the summer. We run two disk mowers and a 535 baler. We also mow the pastures at least once a year.
This forum provided me with a lot of great information when choosing which model and options. I did look at the New Holland T5060 and the Kubota M9540 when shopping as well as a low-hour JD 6330, which was a larger frame/body than I wanted. In the end, it was the 5105M I kept coming back to. Had everything I was looking for and a great local dealer.
