John Deere 5083E and Deutz 6240
Looking at buying a 2010 John Deere 5093 tractor and loader. I found one with 300 hrs at my dealer w/ no loader. After some dickering he is willing to sell it for 42K with a new 553 FEL, ballast box, and hood guard. The tractor will stilll have the full warranty and is pretty well equipped with 8 ply tires..look like new, radio, 2 sets of valves in back, work lights and a block heater. I looked at a new 5083 w/FEL pretty stripped down at another dealer and he wanted 47k for that one. I also priced a McCormick C-Max 100 with loader for the same price as the 5093.

I'd check out the 563 loader too. If mid SCVs have to be added, now is the time to consider getting 3rd function.

Yea but you will need to downgrade to a Dry clutch and Mechanical reverser. Not a bad price for either though.

Definitely go with the 563 loader and global quick attach
