Oh dont say that! For example: Like the when 5M series were released the 5025 series dropped like a bomb!

Really.... when I was lookin' at tractors - and thinking of buying a good used 5025 - the used prices were pretty high - IMO!

Not that far off the price of a new machine. Maybe $7-8,000 difference with 1,000 hours or so. And no warranty; with 3-4% money.

Made it easy to go new.

I agree with AK, The 5M series only pulled up the prices of the used 5X25 series. I was looking for one too. They did NOT drop in price that I could see. I ended up with a 6000 series for less $$$ than any of the 5425 or 5525s I found.

You guys sure.. I had my dealer sell a 2007 JD 5525 24/24 Reverser 3scv with a cab for 40,000 it had around 1000 hours. Sure a way better deal than my 5085M. Dumb enough to get stuck with my 5085M...

That's without a loader...? Drop the loader on my new 5075M and it's right at $50K - with just about all the bells and whistles!

So, drop the wheel weights, the wheel spacers, rear wiper, reverser modulator, front weight bracket, buddy seat, extra lights, air seat, 3rd front SCV, EH hitch and fender control etc. etc. and it would be in the high $40's with cab and standard options.

Still think the 5025's prices have stayed pretty darn strong!

Is that just 'cuz it don't have a cab?

In my case I was not looking for a cab tractor, so I did not follow their pricing.
