Any new JD Rumors or Info on New Equipment?

I too was curious about the 2R series, so I decided to make a speculation on what I think it may look like. Here is what I came up with...

Well... We were told that machines would not be re-named to the new system unless there were major changes to said equipment. I guess T4 engines in the 2x20 Series qualify. The "new 2R" series is the same as the "old 2x20" series, other than the tier of the engine. There will be two tractors next year, the 2025R and 2032R. For the poster who just signed a deal on a 2720 you did well - the price increase for the new 2032R is said to be quite substantial.

The "new" 1025R (replacing the 1026R) and 2025R will both be under the 25hp rating therefore not having a big price increase like the 2032R. Also the 200X loader will be discontinued and the 200CX will now be called the H130.

All new X700's and Z900's are coming as well as the 4-Seat Gator 825i-S4 / 855D-S4 with standard EPAS (Electronic Power Assist Steering) RSX850i's are now showing up at dealerships as well. (We got two this morning)

5E Utility Tractors will now have Cab or OOS available throughout the lineup from 55hp up (5045E will be OOS only) so you can now get a cab 55, 65 or 75hp or an OOS 83, 93 or 101hp. The "Limited" designation will go away with this change. No HST or eHydro available though, for those of you that want it.

Jamie,
Can you elaborate on the X700 Signature series at all?

Well... it looks ugly in photos but much better in person. I guess I should not have said "all new" as the basic engines, transmissions and frames carry over. The hood,(the scoop is functional!) dash and fender deck are new and the X749 does not have a replacement. Engine cooling and cleaning of those areas is much improved. 54" and 60" High-Capacity Mower Decks are now on the table - old 48, 54 and 62 mowers are gone. The new 60HC will work with AWS. If you are not familiar with the HC decks we have used them on the Z600 Series since it's inception. They are the same mold as the 7-Iron but made with 8.5 to 9 ga (depending on who you ask) steel instead of 7 ga. Great decks, we are glad to see them on the X700. These decks will be drive over like the 60" 7-Iron (which is also discontinued) but will have AutoConnect at least as an option - I didn't catch if AutoConnect was standard.

Interestingly enough, there is no John Deere "signature" anywhere on the machine, although I am told that was the original idea.

BTW J-Up was my instructor at the MoCo/Windrower outdoor class.

Thanks man! Good to hear from you! Any info as to weather the loader will still be available on the X7's?
The MacDon clone moco's look good.

Ooops! Glad you brought that up - no more loaders for the X700 Series. I can't believe I forgot that one!

Will the H130 loader continue to be compatible with the 2720? I just purchased a 2720 a few months ago and I didn't buy a loader as I figured I could always get one down the road if I needed it. Hopefully that is still true.

Speaking of loaders, what is the difference between the 200X and 200CX? The specs seem identical.

CX is quick attach/detach
They both are quick attach, the difference is the CX has spring loaded latches for the quick attach and the parking stand where the X uses pins to secure the loader and no parking stand.
