    Default Looked at 1026 R

Well went and looked at 1026R,fel ,bh and 60" mower this evening. Liked the feel of using the fel and bh ,very smooth action on bucket and boom moving left to right ,up and down. NO jerking motion like the 2305.
After figuring out how to swivel the seat much nicer than piece of garbage that came on the 2305.
Wasn't able to try out the position control for 3 ph hitch but should be far far better than what's on 2305 or 1023.
Now a few not totally happy with items... No angle up pads arms what ever you may call it in front of brake pedal and transmission pedals to keep maybe some dirt coming back on your feet or someplace to brace yourself going down steep slopes.
easy opening hood ,,,but seems very cheap may last a lifetime just seems cheap.
While I 'm looking at 1026r wife looking at the new MidDuty 550 S4 4 seater Gator. We took Gator for ride ,nice riding, low noise, low is nice and slow High seemed nice ..It is a long son e gun 144" couple nice features on it, nice storage area under hood ,since engine is under back seat and front part of bed. Looks like you could put 12 cans of whatever with ice and still have room for sandwitchs .. Also the back of rear seat folds forward and makes a nice cargo area ..

Wife signed papers for new Gator and this dealer came within $250 of what my dealer had offered me on a 1023. So I signed papers for new 1026R
Dealer will let us now appx delivery date., they didn't have a 60" deck , or the Protection Package for the Gator in stock.

I didn't choose the auto connect deck, choose the 7iron drive over not the auto part and also put hyd lift instead of mechanial lift for mmm. After having hyd lift now for the last 7-8 yrs couldn't see not buying again.
Have fun and be safe !!!

Congrats as well! May I ask why you chose to avoid the auto connect? Seems like a great feature to easily take your MMM on and off.

Martian From this and other forums I have been reading these horror stories , most from the dealer not doing the correct setup ..
I just didn't want to keep going back to dealer or waiting for them to come and look and then wonder or try to fix problem.

May be the best carefree item on market ..but for now I'm staying clear..

Seriously, though, if the dealer lets you down and you are decent with a wrench, the decks aren't too hard to setup properly. Once setup, they work great. PM me for a link to a nice setup "how-to" (it's on another forum and I don't want to get in trouble lol)
