2305 Gone --1026R

Ok 1026 arrived this afternoon, and I know where are the photos ? Well here are a few the grandaughter took while Tom ,from dealership and I checked out the new ride. Just finished adding my wheel weights and made one pass with mower. Must have been made before the RIO ,could back up and mower kept running. The 2 or 3tenths of hr I ran tractor up the road and the extra 3 hps is amazing.. The 60 " deck is quiet compared to the 54" I had on 2305.The only thing I'm going to dislike is the folding rops (well at least in the 1/2 way down postition ) ran my head into them man I don't remember the stars coming out so early in the afternoon.

LOL, you could start a new post on how many times owners of the 1023/1026 have hit there head on the bar!
2 times here, you learn quick though!

One thing for sure the rop has gotten my attention. It seemed smooth the few min. I messed around with it before taking it off. Fel seemed smoother than the 2305. Honestly the complete tractor seemed so much better than the 2305. Didn't get to try going down our backyard and coming back mowing. Thankfully it rained here off and on about all day ,probably only got a 1 or 2 tenths of in but better than no rain at all. Maybe sometime tomorrow I'll try that and see that goes.. Weather is calling of off and on rain next 4-6 days. If it doesn't rain very much may go over to church and try to finish a project moving rocks and dirt around.

Congratulations on your new tractor; very nice machine, we have been less than happy with our 2305, but there is that whole money thing.

Congrats on your new 1026R! I have read a lot of good reviews about the 1026R, i am sure you will love it! The 1 series are very nice tractors. :thumbsup:

Yesterday with rain in the forcast I still decided to mow. Very impressed with the 60" mower and power of the 1026r.
Mowed most of the back yard in high range with 1026 ,when I had the 2305 always mowed in low range. Not saying the 2305 wasn't able to mow in high range just never felt it could.

yea, never was impressed wiith all the flaws in the 2210, esp now that the imminent driveshaft failure has hit me... Pricing out a trade next week myself but not sure money (or wife) will let me have the 1026.
