Buying Advice 5075M or 5085M

Thanks for the suggestions. I like the 16x16 power reverser transmission and definitely love the 540E pto. I want some wide radial tires, something similar to the ones I see on some of the European models (5100R series).

Get the radials. When I bought my 5520, I traded off the bias ply tires with a tire shop and put Firestone radials all around. 18.4-34 rear and 12.4-24 front. I got a good trade-in value on the originals since they were new and the radials makes a profound difference in flotation and traction. I have 2 rear weights on each side and if I add some front end weights, can pull an 8 shank heavy Deere chisel plow fairly easily. Similar tractors without the tires don't have a chance.
By the way, you can use the earier Deere suitcase weights--they fit fine.

You won't be disappointed with the 5085M. I just picked one up earlier this year with the 16x16 power reverser and the largest radials available. 13.6/24 front and 420/85R34 rears. Fronts are great, but I wish the rears were wider since I brought the rear tires out to be flush with the fender extenders, it leaves a lot of empty inside space that I would have liked to have ground contact for less pressure. I have a pair of weights on each rear and no liquid for a better ride.

If you get the 5075M you will get the old style of tractor I believe, then for the 5085M you get the new IT4 styling, I just ordered one yesterday.
