2013 5065e or 5075e
Stopped off at the local jd dealer today.. To get some quotes for the 2013 5065e and 5075e with the power reverse. I am trying to keep my purchase no more than 35k.. It is looking like I will have to go with 65e in order to make the deal as the 75 was about 2500 over my budget. First question do you think I will really notice the 10hp? Is the frontier rc2084 cutter worth the 3200.00 price tag? Anyone else have any price quotes they can share for the 2013 5065 or 5075e with fel?

Re: 2013 5065e or 5075e
Not sure on the tractor itself, but I'd avoid getting the RC2084 (or any single spindle 7' cutter). It will be very long and cumbersome and take more power than you'd imagine. For that price you could get an MX6, or spend a bit more and get a MX8. Generally an 8' dual spindle takes less power to run than a 7' single spindle cutter.

Can't help you with the 5065E, but I just got a quote on a 2013 5055E with 553 loader , hood guard, 16.9-28 tires and all the valves and what not and Power Reverser and after the discount for the power reverser it was just under $30,000 delivered to my place and I that was the first written offer, haven't haggled on that yet.

Re: 2013 5065e or 5075e
It seems that from what I read, some people just buy the smaller tractor in the series and hop them up later to get the extra hp. That would for sure give me enough room to get the mx8 if I got the 5055e

I was looking at about 32000 for the 65 with fel, tires filled, hood guard.

I assume you guys are talking about non cab versions right? How much extra does the cab version cost? Also, if you get the power reverser, the EPTO option comes with it right?
I have been trying to find some sort of comparison between the 5075E with cab, and the New Holland T4.75 with cab but they are both still so new that there isn't much info on them.
Is the deere Tier 4 yet? The NH is still teir 3.Kubota L4610 and John Deere 410 - WR Long 64" Grapple (best attachment ever!) Yes, this is the open station. I think I read that the cab add a good 7-9k on another thread. I know the M series with the power reverser has the epto. But I am not sure if the e series will have it. I will ask the dealer today. I do agree information is light on the new model.

Actually I just looked on the jd site it looks like the power reverser does have to epto/standard.

Some of those tractors are identical except for the decal on the hood and the fuel calibration.

How is JD going to compete with having power reverser in April when other brands offer it now.. I did have him run the quote for a 2012 5075e w/fel and I was about 33k..
