2520 Discontinued?

I tried to price a 2520 on the JD website today and can only find the 2320. What's up with that? Tier 4?

You can't build the 2520 or 2720 anymore,and dealer can no longer order them. They are changing them to the newer 2R series. If you find one on a dealers lot, buy it now...

This is to align the new model numbers, and to meet the newer Tier4 emissions requirements.

Doty, I can not say for sure but i would think that seeing how those units where made by Yanmar and now with Yanmar selling tractors i would think you wouldn't supply your competitor. I may be wrong.

I don't think your right. I believe the cub cadet tractors had yenmar engines, they've been discontinued. I believe the 2520 will be gone all together. The 2720 will be renamed and so will the 2320. I don't know why the 2320 isn't gone yet. Its all weird and secretive. I think the 2720 and 2320 will be the exact same except for badging. the cx200 will the rename h180 or something. National secret.

Best I can tell its renumbering. At the very least the cx200 will still fit but renamed. the 200x is deleted.

They did the one series last year, they are doing the 2 series now, so I suspect the 3 series in next year-just a guess though. They even re-named the 1026R to the 1025R and re-rated it for this model year.

According to JD's website, they list a 1025r with 24.2 hp and a 1026r with 25.2 hp. Also 2025r with 25.4hp and 2030R with 30.5 hp. They 2320 has been dropped.
