E Series switch over to TIer IV
I was out on the deere configurator last night, and I noticed they no longer allow you to configure a 5093e, the 5083e and 5101e are there with the Tier III engines and now there is a 5100e that is Tier IV. It looks like the switch has begun!
Here's a link to the web page on the 5100e

- a couple of green/yellow ones
Yeah my dealer called me Friday to let me know the 5093 is no more. You can't order them any longer and what he has in stock is it.
The new t4 stuff is going to cost a bunch more and be more expensive to service.
Looks like the decision about when to buy one has just been made for me.
