New 5083e, 553, and MX10 delivered!
My new tractor is here! Ended up going with new cutter as well rather than used. I have to say I was sad seeing the Kubota go. Gonna need a bigger shed...
Too wet to use this weekend. Need to figure out how to change my signature now.JD 5083E cab, 553 loader, MX10 cutter

Congratulations on your new tractor, I think you are really going to like that combination. It takes a while to get use to a pull type cutter and backing up takes a bit of practice, but they give a really good cut and cover a lot of ground.

Neat pics! Hurray for new tractors!

Thanks! I should point out the $5k buddy seat. It actually didn't cost that much of course but I figure since that and my 2 year old who's crazy about tractors convinced me to get a deere rather than kubota that's about how much it cost me!

I came soooo cose to buying a 5083E in January, but went with your "other" choice instead.
Congrats on the new tractor! Enjoy!

Wow, that is really sweet. I'd say I'm green with envy.
Is there a tool box?

Looks great!
So a buddy seat is now a factory option? It wasn't for 2012, which was one of the reasons I went with the M tractor. I have a 2 year old and a 8 month old. Not getting a buddy seat was not an option!
I would suggest widening the rear stance, and get rim guard in the rears if you don't already.JD 5085M w/ H260 MSL Loader, Frontier AV20G Grapple, Frontier AP13G Pallet Forks, Woods BH1050 Backhoe, Woods SG100 Stump Grinder, Woods RM990 Finish Mower, Woods RB850 3 Way Hydraulic Blade, Woods LR108-2 Rake, Maschio H205 Tiller, Bush Hog 3209 Cutter, Vermeer 906 Chipper, Valby SGR76 3pt Grapple, Shaver 601H Post Digger, Tufline 8' Disc Harrow, Vicon Vari-Spreader MK-II 400, JD 45 16-3 Bottom Plow
