Well, it would be nice to know a bit more about you and your location from your profile. But, here's my input anyway. I recently sold a JD 650 with a front mounted dozer blade and 2500 hrs on the clock. I got $5,000.

Now, heres a tip, but use it wisely. Greenias John Deere in Almont, Michigan has a JD650 with loader on their used lot. Maybe you could ask them how much they want for theirs. Maybe, this is the one you are talking about. (this is where having your profile filled out would help)

Re: PRICING A 650 JD W\\FEL

RE: my previous pricing a 650 JD post.- sorry about not having more info in my post. I thought my bio was filled out. I just did it now. I'll try to use the tractor for some heavy loader work ie: moving rocks 400-500 lbs., backfilling foundations & trenches, leveling grades, etc. How much counter weight can I put in back w\o causing damage to the drive train?

Jim, the 67 loader mounted to a JD650 is capable of lifting 400 pounds. The amount of ballast needed should be around 400 lbs in the rear plus an additional 200 lbs or so to counterbalance the loader mechanism.

Note: The same loader mounted to a JD 750 tractor is spec'd to lift 700 pounds. The 750 has three more HP and is a 3 cylinder as opposed to the 650 two cylinder. I really enjoyed the 650 I owned, but if I was looking for one right now, I would look for a 750.
