Price check: 4320 Cab and 400CX Loader

Hi All,

Looking to purchase a new 4320 and thought the price was a little high. Thoughts?

4320 with standard Cab/radio, ehydro, Turf tires, rear work lights. Suggested Price: 39,702. Dealer Quote: 37,350. (5.93 percent discount)
400CX Loader, no ballest box, 85in High Volume Bucket, loaded rear tires: Suggested Price: 7,063. Dealer Quote: 6,250 (11.51 percent discount)

Total Suggested: 46,765
Dealer Quote: 43,600
Percent Discount: 6.77%

BTW, I am from Massachusetts as I have noticed different areas of the country are different discount rates.

I have been hearing of people getting 15 to 18% discount. Thoughts on this price?

This time of year I would think they wouldn't discount much if any.. If I plan on buying a large piece of equipment I buy in the off season,, winter on farm equipment,, I got a new round baler NH for little over 20 thousand in Nov.. My friend got the some kind for 26 thousand last month.. Lou

Sounds pretty high to me. You could get twice the horsepower in a 5083 for 8 or 9 grand more

When I bought my 4720 last spring, in Minnesota, I got a 17.4% discount. This was on all accessories and options, but not on freight or setup.
So that put me right at 42K for an open station 4720 with:
Canopy, R4's, 3rd Rear EH SCV, 4th&5th rear lever SCV's, Power Beyond, air ride seat, 400cx loader with SSQA, and 3rd function kit, iMatch, Ballast box, 440 lbs of wheel weight, HD 73 inch Worksite Pro bucket, Worksite Pro 48" Pallet Forks, and Worksite Pro Bale Spear.
I would have been happy with anything over 15%

I think that is just about what I paid for my 4720 with 400CX MSL in April delivered with options. Base on online configurator it was aright at 20% discount from online delivered to my yard.

Thanks guys for response. Was able to get a little more money off to come out to about 9% total off list price.

Tractor supposed to be delivered tomorrow
