3520 jd
Well it is time to be prepared for winter this year . Too wet to combine beans anymore so wondering what brands my neibouring Onatarions have for there tractors . Have a 3520 w/ 300cx loader . I recently looked at a smyth blower and also a Lucknow . Frontier seems high priced . Farm King seem ok . 6' I think with hydralic rotation. I have gravel laneway would skid shoes help , I don't really need to scrape ground even if I leave a 1" or so . Piles get to big so thinking snowblower this year . If I use it or not it's like a generater you got it if you need it. Piles are done for me. Anyone havr experience with any of these mentioned blowers? Thanks

I have a JRW, no longer made. Have had it for about 11 years. Kincardine weather never out did it!
I am thinking of going front mount and it would be MKMartin or Kubota. I only have a BX23TLB.

I have an Allied Farm King (Buhler) for several years. I bought cheap and an oldie, but it works well with proper maintenance.
I think most of the major Canadian brands would be good. It also depends on whether or not you go new or used and how handy you are with repairs and maintenance.

I don't live in Ontario but I have a Lucknow 2 stage rear mount 3 point. Have had it for at last 15 years and no issues whatsoever. Hydraulic chute rotator.

It's a 72" and I added side wings to give it an additional couple inches (about 78" total width). I also added some Meyers round skid shoes because I too blow over gravel.

I run mine behind a 90 horse pto and it uses every bit of that (could use more) in deep wet drifts. Keep the drive chain oiled and the drivline greasd and no issues.

It's a solid unit. I recommend Helm Welding/Lucknow.

Had a landpride for a year and traded it. Junk compared to a Lucknow.

I use a 51"Meteor on a b7100 Kubota Rear PTO. Made in Elmira, Ont. It is bullet proof for 50 years now. It is made outa thick Steel will heavy gears, shafts and sprockets. Keep it oiled, greased, run the PTO at about 500 rpm, it will outlast me and easily blow 3' of snow or compacted berms near the highway. Throws the doggone snow a hundred feet, doesn't clog with wet snow if you keep the rpm up. It is my salvation in out worst winters here in New Brunswick.
