I have demoed both tractors.....they appear to be the same frame, cab, motor, pretty much the same tractor all the way around. The 4066R did have a air ride seat, which can be ordered and installed on 4052R.
How are they getting higher HP rating out of the 4066R with the same motor? Do they just have it turned up more?

Theres about a 4500 dollar difference to go up to the 4066R.

I have a New Holland Workmaster 55 now and I just am concerned that the 4052R with 39.9HP at PTO may not be enough.....where the 4066R is rated at 52HP at PTO.

Any thoughts from you guys who maybe own one of these two tractors......just hate to purchase and regret.

Thanks

Most of us that were buying a tractor have gone through this in the past. I personally like to have more power available than less. If you are concerned I recommend the 4066R and push for a better discount on the price.

They are at 37,195.00 on the 4066R with a deluxe cab.

When I bought the 4520 cab in 2009 with 6 front weights and 6 rear weights, upgraded cruise, rear wiper, hood guard, 2 rear work lights, R4 tires, third rear valve, telescopic links and topntilt it was 34,500. Did not want a fel so I moved the front hydraulic couplers to the rear for a total of three sets.

Prices are up on everything, I suppose if you have a few extras included the price is within range.

What's the list price on that tractor ? I want to see the discount they are giving you. Got a quote on a 4044R Cab with standard seat and trying to see how competitive/aggressive that is. Thanks !!!

I think you got something wrong or take this deal right away. The 4066R with a deluxe cab lists for $48,105 so if they quoted $37,195 you are getting a 22.7% discount. JUMP ON IT

If that is the price on just the tractor without the Cab which lists for $39,030 ... $37,195 is a low discount of 4.7% that is horrible.

It's a cab unit. I have quote. It has a lot of discounts due to green fleet member and a few other items. I demo the tractor yesterday that they would sell me. It's 37,195.00 for a cab 4066R with deluxed cab features.

I'd take that deal in a heartbeat. That tractor is supposed to be close to $50,000. I wouldn't hesitate at all to grab it and go. And when in doubt, go for more horsepower, you'll never have to much but you'll always find yourself needing more. I myself thought the 5083e was big enough but since Deere came out with the 900 series round baler, I now would need 100PTO horsepower to run it. May just turn up the fuel pump and do some tuning.

WOW ... buy that tractor and I'll give you $38,000 for it and get a 2nd one for only $36,400

This price is before taxes. So after taxes. I'm in upper 39K. Which still sounds not to bad.

They quoted me 32,850 for a 4052R cab unit.
