Hello, does anyone know if John Deere is still producing new 2WD Utility tractors from 45 to 65 hp? Something similar to the 5055D. I looked on their website and all I seen was 4WD models. Also is the 5045D and 5055D good tractors?

Thanks

The D's are very basic tractors, and depending on what you need, they could be just the ticket. I haven't heard any complaining about them.
There are no 2wd CUT's made by JD anymore that I'm aware of.

Current machines are now all E series, and are ordered either 2wd or 4wd. 5045e - 5075e, most of the images will probably show them with the optional mfwd axle. The D's where a pretty reliable tractor though imao.

Yes, the 5045e, 55, 65, and 75 are all available in 2wd. They just don't show the pictures on the website.
I have been asking too if they are good tractors, as I will be buying one soon. I've heard good and bad. More good than bad.
