John Deere Seat-1025R vs 2025R

I am in the market to purchase a 1025R and visited the local JD dealer. While there and once I saw the 2025R I seemed to like it better. It's a little bigger and can handle a bit more than the 1025R although the 1025R is very cool. To My Surprise - the 1025R being the lightweight of the 2 has a far superior seating system over that of the 2025R. A weird marketing decision on the part of JD in my opinion. Does anyone know if the 1025R bigger and better seat suspension system can be mounted on the 2025R or if even available as an option??

I priced out the 1025R seat many years ago (back when it was the 1026R) and it was like $900. I kid you not.

When I went in to my dealership to look/purchase my D110 I naturally sat on a number of higher numbered Lawn Tractors. The D110 has a short-back seat and the D130 had a higher backed one.

I said I wanted the D110 but with the D130's seat at no extra charge. Done deal.

All you've got to do is ask, Mate. You're the customer.
