I have a friend who has a 5325 he is selling. Don't know the price because he is selling it as a package with some equipment. Checked prices on the 5325 they seem to be 34-36k with a cab, loader, and 4x4. An New 5075e is about 50k. Prices on the used 10 year old tractor s seem kind of high compared to the new ones. Is there something I am missing?

The 5325 is considered a more durable and huskier tractor than the 5075e, even though there is a difference in HP.

EDIT--Let me add it's more like an "M" Deere as opposed to an "E" Deere. Shop manager told me that.

Paid 29 K after taxes for my 2006 5325 4x4 open station, FEL, 9x3 transmission with 700 hrs 3 years ago... Glad I did as it been an excellent machine. And as the others said it is a huskier machine than the newer 5 series. I do believe Deere was cost cutting with their latest utility tractors...

Agreed. I have a 5520 and it is a beast compared with things made today. You should never sell your 5325 or if you do, let me know. Great tractor and hard to find.

Jon- Depends how many hours it has and the overall condition. Compared to tier IV JDs you will find the older series have better visibility from the cab for implements on the front. I would have a dealer check the Powereverser function to make sure its still rock solid. i love my 5325 as a great utility tractor.....wish I had the narrow cab version for my vineyard.
