Is following a fair price for a JD 4410 tractor?:

4410: $19,749
Ehydro: $1,200
Industrial tread tires: $204
Joystick: $714
300x loader: $3,159
655 tiller: $2,100
LX5 rotary cutter: $1,301
Ballast box: No charge
Freight & setup: $350
Delivery: $200
Subtotal: $28,977
Discounts/Incentives: $1,777

Total: $27,200

I can also get a 4310 tractor for $1,000 less.

So, are the above prices fair and is it better to go with 4410 over the 4310? Suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

Hopefully your prices are in Canadian dollars and not greenbacks.

What's up with charging for a "joystick"? Charging for "delivery"? Please.

Here's my setup:
4310 MFWD eHydro with loaded R4's $15,400
430 Loader with 6' bucket, level indicator, and joystick $3300.00
72" mid mount mower and 3rd SCV $2400
Setup Free
Delivery Free
Total $21,100

Using my tractor pricing and adding your implements I come up with $23101 including the extra $1000 for the 4410.
Assuming we're talking American dollars here, I'd say your dealer is a few thousand high.

My tractor came from the dealer in the next county over; my local dealer assumed I was a "sucker" (or stupid). Bad mistake. I've sent three other happy JD owners to the next county for thier new tractors.

Seems High. I paid 20,200 for a 4310 11 months ago: E-hydro, Industrial tires, 430 loader w/ tooth bar, box blade, and Bush Hog cutter. Oh, and a hat.

Good luck.

I think you're a little high. Here's what I paid in August:

4410 w/eHydro
430 Loader w/heavy duty 61" bucket
48 Backhoe with 18" heavy duty bucket
R4 Industrial tires
Ballast box
Armrest package
Rear worklight
Automotive Cruise Control
MotionMatch

$28,950.00

For comparison, I think the backhoe, installed, was about $7,000.00 of the package.

I believe the 4310 would have been about $1,000.00 less

Good luck!

Steve,

I wrote this in a 4310 post but it pertains to your post more. I just got a quote Friday for a 4410 HST (4wd is std.).

Here it is:

4410 HST 4wd-$17,250.00
420 fel-$2,700.00
Total-$19,950.00

This does not include tax but does include pick-up and delivery during warranty. The dealer is about 1 1/2-2 hours from me.

He would not quote me a 430 fel though.

A 300X fel is $2,850.00

I still feel that they can do better. It's just getting hard to find close dealers with 4410's on their lot.
