Price Check john deere 5203 price???????

ok fellas i have finally made up my mind on the 5203.what is a good price for one new.i will be getting the hood guard,canopy,and a bush hog 286 rotary cutter.i have got them to come down to a good price on the bush hog.but what would be a good price for a new 5203?

I paid 18,600 for 5203 and 512 FEL. The local dealer wanted 22000 for the same equipment and was not interested in negotiation. The 22000 is about what is listed on the JD website. The local dealer is in cotton farming country and sells to the big boys so I suppose he'll get his price or doesn't want to deal with the small fry. I bought the tractor in the Texas hill country where a lot of the CUTs are sold. Hope this helps. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
