318 value

Can anyone tell me what a 318, runs well, serial 325xxx, with 1300
hours would be worth?
I have one I am thinking of selling.

That will depend greatly on the condition of the tractor and engine. Does the engine smoke or knock? The Onan engine is no longer available, so a worn out engine can really hurt the value. I would say with those hours, your looking at between $1200 and $2250. To get over $2000 for a 1300 hour machine, it should be in excellent condition, with no engine issues. I would pay $1200 for a fixer upper with some engine issues. Of course, if the engine is junk and the rest of the machine is not very healthy, you might be looking at a $500 parts tractor. Does it come with a mower deck or any other attachments?

Could you post a picture? I think the other post covers it quite well. The 318 is a Deere classic for ruggedness and utility.

The engine runs fine, no smoke or knock that I can hear.
It comes with a mower deck (I think it's a 48" ) . The seat is
apparently a replacement.
