John Deere Parts books
When I bought my tractor, I also ordered a parts book for it. The tractor is here and doing well. The dealer says that deere has not got parts books in stock for the 2005 units yet. They go on to say that they have no ETA for them either. I can't tell if I'm getting smoke or what. Any comments?

Re: John Deere Parts books
Not really sure. Seems like they would be in print being last years model.
In the meantime if you need a part go to:

Re: John Deere Parts books
Call 1-800-522-7448 and you should be able to order a parts catalog (hard copy or CD) direct from deere. Or you can download the entire parts catalog from the Deere web site for free.

Re: John Deere Parts books
I called deere's publisher and got the price, then called the Dealer to get my cash back on the book I ordered. Guess what, it showed up yesterday!!! Well, I won't be my usual negative self. Glad it got here and thanks for the suggestions.
