60\" 7 iron deck on a 68\" wide 3320 series tractor?

Its the only deck option?

If the rear tires are almost 69" wide, why would you not use the 72" 7 iron deck? I cant see this being too productive if the tires are running over some grass on every pass since you dont cut a full 60" wide each strip, maybe 56~ since you over lap a hair to not miss any.?

ok im a little slow today, just realize you can get a 72" 7 iron deck on it... but why even offer a 60"?

so if I am reading this post right your cutting deck should be wider than the wheels, is it following the same thought as a rear blade should be wider than the wheel base to it does not leave tire marks. I am thinking of a 3320 or 3520 and I am selling my 4110 with smaller deck. This time I want every thing final, Hope this is my last tractor. went from a 455 to 4110 now a 20 sir.

I looked the up the specs on the 3320. Wheelbase is 68" (center of front wheel to center of rear wheel). I went to the manual for the tractor to get width (rear tires). Widest tires would give a max width of 59", min width of 53.9. Should be a good setup with the 72" mower. Here is a direct link to manual. Click Here

I have a 3520 coming anyday. I ordered the 72" 7-IRON MMM.
The 'build a 3520' configurator does allow the use of the 72" deck.

If you want to see it check out the link in my sig. I own the 72" 7-irom MMM on my 3320. I love it. I mow at least 3 acres weekly with mine. I did remove it this winter. Very soon it will be going back on I guess - Spring is right around the corner.

looks like the same setup I have on mine (just got it). How much trouble really is it to remove and put on the MMM when you want? I know the loader is the slickest thing I've seem yet.

Pretty easy to remove the MMM really. Remove one wheel for the MMM, drop all the linkage, disconnect some clips, turn the wheels, disconnect the PTO, remove some linkage, and side it out. Manual shows it all step by step.
