My dealer has recommended a 300cx loader for a new Deere 2305 tractor, Deere calls for a 200cx, the dealer says the 300cx is a more capable loader, has anyone heard of putting a 300cx on a 2305? Thanks

Hi,

I don't know about the 300cx, but I have a 200cx on mine. It has more power then the tractor can safely use.
If you want to use all of the capacity, you'll have to have LOTS of ballast.

How does it compare costwise?

Jeff,

Something is mixed up there. Deere offers two loaders for the 2305, the 200X and the 200CX. The 200X IS NOT a quick tach loader. The 200CX is. It is, in fact, the same loader that is used on the 2320 (soon to come out) and the 2520. The 300 series loader goes on the 3x20 tractors. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Find a more knowledgeable salesman! The 200 loader in x or cx are your choices.

Find a new salesman....oh wait this may be a NEW salesman. The 2305 only takes the 200X and 200CX loader. The CX is parkable and has more lift capacity.

Yeah, the 200X & 200CX are the only loaders for the 2305. Sounds like your salesman is a new guy. Give him a break and try him again though. The poor guy's probably swimming in specs and numbers. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
