I had a quote given for a 4120 today with the loader. Anyone that knows, please help me understand if this is a good / fair price. This seems a bit high to me, but it just feels high. I don't know if it is high. Someone, please let me know.

4120 Tractor with PowrReverser, R4 tires : $20,933
400X Loader with HD bucket: $4,077
Total: $25,010

4120 Tractor with eHydro, R4 Tires: $21,980
400X Loader: $4,077
Total: $26,057

Thank you in advance:
Blake

sounds kinda of high. Is it new or used? A 3320 lists for 17,90 +- add 6,000 +- for bucket and mmm. Just ball park of course. Others here are fair more in the know than I.

Good luck

Roger

I just received a quote for the same machine in the ehydro with the loader for $24,682. Much better.

Blake,

Just bought a new 4120 this past tuesday. I think I got a pretty good price.
4120, e-hydro, 400x loader, power beyond, w/r4 tires. $23,300 delivered.

I love the machine, had a load of gravel waiting and put the thing to work as soon as it was unloaded. It will pick up a full bucket without ballast. HTH.

I got the powerreverser with loader but R1's (rears loaded) last fall for $22,700. Could have got it with unloaded R4's for same price. I needed the ground clearance for ag work and the R1's gave a ton more on the 28 in. rims (R4's came only on 24's). As far as rear ballast with the loader I think there is a tendency especially with manufacturers reccomendations to be overly conservative. That bucket has a very limited capacity especially with loose gravel (aprox. 1/2 cu yard). If you are going to be moving heaped buckets of dirt you should keep something on the 3 pt. but as others have pointed out, you can move gravel with nothing back there and unloaded rears.

I too and looking at this model. I got two quotes for the tractor at local dealers in central Florida.

19,600 plus 4,100 for x fle
21,480 Plus 4,082 for CX fle

The cheapest was $2000 more than comparable NH and kubota models. All with same basic features. I like the JD but 2 grand buys a few goodies.

Any advice?

I've got a quote on a 4120, ehydro, R4s, 400x for $23,200. It'd be worth the extra $2k if you could figure out how to adjust the 4120 to a 4720.
