Great setup. I've been lusting over the Hydro dump power pack but I can't bring myself to pay the $4700+ it costs total..

Let us know how it works.

I noticed in the last picture that you had a DR Power rake in the background? Is the hydro dump to replace that? How does that dump? I have a Cyclone Rake commercial and with the fabric bag sometimes it's a pain to dump as grass get's clumped in it.

Cool looking unit. But why is the unit "custom" converted to i-match? I thought that i-match hitch is a pretty standard option on these tractors?

In the background you are looking at a Dr. Power Lawn & Leaf Vac....and yes the Hydraulic Dump is to replace it. For leaf season coming up the leaves are up against a 6-foot mower deck, hooked up up to a 5hp power pack blower that you empty from the seat of the tractor!! Don't get me wrong, Dr. leaf hooked up to a JD430 with 60mmm is very good but this thing is just sick! It's like cheating. Needless to say, the good Dr. is currently for sale at a local dealer. As far as the dumping the Dr. Leaf vac all you do is remove the rear panel and pull a lever, it tilts back....and then have a pitch fork handy to help remove the 315 gallons of 10:1 shredded leaves and grass clippings. To empty the hyd. dump all you do is backup to where you want to empty, pull back on the scv lever and watch the container go up like a BFI dumpster truck. The container flips over the top, gravity empties it from close to 7ft., you then push the scv lever forward until the container stops back down into position and you drive away never having to leave the seat of the tractor

Superduper -
The unit is custom converted to i-match because that Hydraulic Dump system is designed around a standard cat.1 3pt hitch, not an i-match. A tech that I know came over and had to weld a couple of brackets on the hyd. dump frame to make the hook up to the i-match hitch possible. I did this because I ordered the optional bushing kit for my ballast box and I did not want to have to take the i-match off to switch between two if I don't have to.

If you research on John Deere, you will find that the 72 mower and the hydraulic dump are not compatible with each other due to JD not making a boot to fit a 72mmm.

The hydraulic dump is not i-match compatible

The hydraulic dump is not available on 2520 as deere makes it seem as the 2520 is too small a compact to be able to use that unit on.

Great looking system!!

Have you had any issues with the hydro dump on that tractor?
I am looking for the same set up on the same tractor, for a grass cutting busseness.
It looks like it is sitting a little higher than normal? Is that due to the brackets or is it just me?
Also how loud is the blower engine compared to the tractor with the mower running?

Again great job!!!!!!!
