JD5225, JDX340, CubCadet1515, Massey Ferguson MF 175
I finally decided on the 5225 MFWD, 12F/12R PowrReverser, IOOS w/ 542 Standard loader and HD bucket. The tractor was ordered on March 8th, dealer says it should come in around April 12th give or take a week or so. I almost bought a Kubota because of lower price. I decided to go ahead and buy a John Deere because that is what I really wanted. I have been looking at new tractors for nearly 3 years. My old MF175 is going to be jealous.

Congrats! Sounds like a great tractor. I looked very closely at the Kubota M series but ultimately decided I liked the JD better - I have a 5105 MFWD and 522 FEL, which I got just about 3 weeks ago.

That's a really nice tractor. Please post some pic's!

Let us know how you like it and what you do with it.

Be careful with it until you know it like the back of your hand!

Have fun most of all...Kyle

Tractor received by dealer on 4/10, loader followed a day or two later. The dealer is going to deliver the tractor this weekend. Really looking forward to having a new machine. I will put up some pictures next week for everyone to check out.

Make sure you write down a list of what projects you're going to do this weekend...otherwise you will end up like the rest of us and, after 20 minutes doing the only useful task you can think of (whatever it may be), you will start driving around aimlessly ripping up dirt and making machinery noises...
