Cirrus is a true cadillac of planes. One would have to have a share in fort knox to buy one. Cheapest SR20 is 275 plus there are alot of add ons to make it comfy. The last memorable rides I had on a helicopter was in the jungle of RVN... Old USMC UH34Ds. There were a couple unplanned landings and they came down hard. ( not like in the movies )

I think the X530 has power steering, hyd lift, and larger engine, and takes the 47" snowblower, etc. ?

x500 has 3/4" steering spindles, x530 has 1" spindles. Also, power steering, and hyd. deck lift. I didn't think I needed the power steering, but after using it, I really like it. But the steering spindles are what put me on the 530, because I mow a lot.

10hrs. on 'er. Did the first oil change. I really like the unit so far. The oil change took about 15min. all said. I would have taken pics, but it was really simple. I have minimized my yard to about 2 1/2 hrs. mowing. I think I'll get it down to 2hrs. in a couple weeks. I think it uses roughly a gal./hr..

Hello.. We just bought 10 acres out by Wilmington, Oh and I don't think my push mowers are going to cut it.. I did some looking on the John Deere site and liked the x530, and then did a search and found your post. Any complaints yet on the x530? What attachmets do you have so far and what do you think of them? I'll probably only mow 4-5 acres, use it to plow snow (~200ft gravel driveway) and maybe do some light tilling for small scale gardening. Guess you haven't had yours long enough to comment on the front blades for snow moving, anyone else? Should I get the 40" tractor shovel for versatility, or go with the front blade? Thanks for any help.. will probably order in the next week or so.
