Have a John Deere 455 for sale, it is a 1999-2000 model I have been told. It has 790 hours on it, a 60 inch deck, 54 inch snow blade available, a set of wheel weights, rear weight bracket and a set of chains. I don't know what the set of chains fit but with a little bit of adjusting they would fit this tractor, I have 5 chains or 2.5 sets. I would like $5900 for the tractor with everything listed, if anyone is interested. I live around champaign, il. Thanks for looking and any questions let me know, thanks.

I also have a John deere 425 with 850 hours or so on it. It has a 54 inch deck and runs great. I am selling one or the other. I will post some pictures and a price soon.

Good hours and good price. Can't beat the 455 IMO.
I found mine on eBay and drove 800 miles to pick it up. But then I was particular and needed a 54" deck and AWS.

Pics would help for anyone looking. Hopefully not beat up with those few hours.

I don't know what the rust is from on the foot rests, I plowed snow with this thing for 2 winters but I washed it after I was done. The side screens are rusted some also, one is worse then the other. I have only owned the tractor for 2 years now and the rust on the foot rest was already their, I had to replace the left side screen plastic last summer. The tractor runs great and I would rather keep it instead of the gas 20 hp 425, but money talks when their isn't any need for a diesel tractor that is this capable. I can put more detailed or close up shots of the fenders, their are some fine scratches, I tried to take the best care of this tractor but when you buy one that isn't perfect it can cost when you are trying to fix it. I didn't paint anything, it is all stock paint and everything. Also the HDAP tires that are on it aren't on it anymore it has the original tires that match the front tire tread are back on it.

I don't see anything that is major regards the little bit of rust. Likely comes just from washing and not being able to get it perfectly dry.
Some wire brushing and Deere spray paint will cover that nicely.

Looks to be in good shape, nothing that some minor cosmetic work wouldn't make it look real good.
