Have a X728SE and was pondering on switching over to the R4 Trac Chief tires. Has anyone here done this? Pics? And what are your thoughts. I have mainly flat land that I mow with one sharp hill - grading on the north side of my house. I also do quite a bit of snow blowing around the neighborhood with some driveways on hills.

I would stick with HDAP's for the uses you have specified. R4s will do no better than HDAP's on the hill and HDAP's will perform better in the snow. Just my :2cents:

I can't see any advantage to switching to R4 tires on your mower. This year I pushed 12" of snow with the hdap tires (no chains or wheel weights) with no problems at all.
