John Deere 1026r hour meter

My hour meter on my JD 1026r has stopped. Does anyone know a simple way to get to the wiring and check if it has come unplugged. The dealer is a long ways away. Thanks.

A good plan would be to get ahold of the tech manual, especially if far from the dealer and you are interested in doing these things yourself.

Maybe someone will chime in that already has a tech manual.

Some tractors require some shrouds to be removed to get at the dash. Also, look at the manual that you have to see if the digital hour meter being off is code for a problem.
