    Default plastic impeller

Just tried out my blower for the first time after replacing plastic impeller with steel impeller. Snow was flying further and it seemed to take less effort from the engine.

    Welcome to the forum.

The metal one will have more weight which equals more momentum carrying it around, much like a flywheel.
