Hi All - I have a JD LT150 about 12 years old or so, still running strong. 2 of the 4 tires (1 front & 1 rear) go flat in a day or two. Do I need to replace the tires with new tubeless tires or can I just put in a couple of inner tubes?? Thanks . . .

I would just tube them unless you have large side wall cracks that the tube would protrude through.

Thanks Randy - Thought so, think I just needed to double-check. . .

I put new front tires on last year because of air leaks and after checking the prices for the rears ( 120 each) think I might tube them too. Don't think I want to dump $300 in rear tires on my old L130.

Perhaps the valve stem assembles are leaking? I had one leaking from around the rim valve stem hole recently. I also tubed the front tires on my STX and it is working well. The small tires are a challenge to dismount, but the FEL with forks make an easy way to break the bead away from the rim. The tubes were less than $8.00 at my local John Deere Dealer and were Carlisles.

Good luck with the project.
