Hi all!

I picked up a GX325 which will mostly be used for cutting grass/weeds around the house a bit smoother than the bush hog. My last garden tractor experience was my dad's old C161 Wheel Horse (which he refuses to sell to me :)). To me, the idle on the GX325 is quite high, not like the "putt putt putt" of the old Wheel Horse. Is the new "normal"?

Thanks!

a 2 cylinder engine will not go 'putt putt putt' at idle like a single cylinder.
a nice quiet 'purr' is more common, and without a tach it's hard to know if it's idling too fast.
