Any suggestions on the power plant in the "BEAST-A-DEERE" ? I'm thinking a 2or3 cylinder TURBO diesel ?? Any comments ?

How much power do you need?

My put together loader has a 22 hp 3 cylinder, non turbo Mitsibishi diesel, plenty for wheels.

Perkins makes some starting at about 15 hp. Search eBay.

What Deere are you using to modify?

It is a Bobcat.

He got it for the tracks.

I don't think he has said what doner Deere he is going to use.
I just thought he would chop up the Bobcat till he got the project he was happy with.

Thought he was using a Steiner for the drive assembly?
